Kroger Community Rewards Program

Kroger has benefited non-profits and charities for years through their gift card program, Kroger Cares. The Kroger Rewards program fundraiser makes up over 50% of our annual budget.

The new Kroger Community Rewards program is simple and quick!  Just register your Kroger Plus card and choose the BHS PTSO as your benefiting organization.  Your shopping will help raise money for the PTSO.  Registration can be done at  Our organization number is 83602.  If you are used to supporting several organizations with the old Kroger gift card program, don’t despair.  You can change the organization that you are supporting throughout the year.

Amazon Smile Program

The BHS PTSO is a member of the AmazonSmile program.  AmazonSmile is a simple and automatic way for you to support the PTSO every time you shop, at no cost to you. When you shop at, you’ll find the exact same low prices, vast selection and convenient shopping experience as, with the added bonus that Amazon will donate .5% of the purchase price to the PTSO.

You may also want to add a bookmark to AmazonSmile to make it even easier to return and start your shopping at AmazonSmile.  On your first visit to AmazonSmile, you need to select the Blacksburg High School PTSO as the charitable organization to receive donations from eligible purchases before you begin shopping. Amazon will remember your selection, and then every eligible purchase you make on AmazonSmile will result in a donation to the PTSO.

Target Red Card

Target, Inc. has sent $900 to Blacksburg High School each year based on registered Target Redcard Visa Debit and Credit cards.  Not only do you get a 5% discount for Target purchases and free shipping online, but BHS can also earn 1% of your purchases using the Target Redcard.  We currently have 53 cards registered for Blacksburg High School.  Can we get to 100 cards this year?  To register your Target Redcard, visit Take Charge of Education at
